My real life teddy bear. You would have been 5 years old today and my heart aches with fallen tears every day since you left us so violently. I have to believe that it was a divine intervention for you to leave the safety of the dog park that day. That last game of evade and capture put your life at risk and now we are only left with our memories. I know that your free willed spirit loved to run most of all. Despite our efforts, you were called home. God please give me the strength and courage to cherish all of our memories and try not to regret the days without you. Although your life was shortened, time is not measured by quantity, but in the quality of time we spent together. My life was full because of you! You brought us so much love, joy and happiness to our family with that smiling furball face. I will miss my kisses to and from the dog parks on our car rides and your howling excitement of running on our bike rides. I know that the Sandy Paws Sled Dog Club will miss your fun loving, easy going nature and smartness of being one of the lead huskies on the team. Until we meet again, please rain down wet nose kisses, windy tail wags and sunny howls of hello. I will look for you in the rainbows. You will be honored and your memory will not be forgotten.Your paw has forever imprinted our hearts.
Much Love,
Your Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Laella

JUNO K9 GESKE RAN OVER THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

PRINCESS MELODY
April 18, 2011
Today I lost a piece of my heart to the rainbow bridge. “Princess Melody “ passed over it. I was with her but a short time, but a more loving companion I could never find . She insisted on telling me when to get out of bed , when to take her for walks, when to feed her, when it was time for her loves, when to give her medication and when to go to bed. She would start with a short bark, and if that did not work ,she would start talking. If I tried to ignore her , she would start walking towards me , getting louder with each step., until I did her biding. I will miss this sweet , gentle loving girl
